Ben Dan's 3rd visit to my home

Ben dan invited my parents out for dinner together...hehe He is so brave! I say he's brave as he doesn't really have a language in common with my mum..Hehe ..He is a Chinese Indonesian born in central java..since young chinese language is banned there..The chinese living in Semarang & Jakarta never spoke chinese..only communicate in Bahasa Indonesian...OMG..for some of the luckier ones..they manage to learn english...My mum is chinese edu..thus cannot speak english... Mum grew up in malaysia thus she can understand some simple malay..but she lived in an all-chinese kampong in malaysia..ummm so her malay is quite limited as well..also it has been 40 years since her malaysia kampong days..so u can imagine..hehe


Hey I also faced problem communicating with his mum..but just a little..his mum spoke and learnt chinese till she was 7 years old..Since then it has been about 40+ yrs since she last spoke chinese..as she is also not english educated..we communicate thru the basic chinese that she remembered back from 40+ year ago...wow

The both of us laughed alot whenever we think about it...He speaks in Bahasa to my mum..I speak in chinese to his mum..but he cannot speak bahasa to me me..as I dun understand and I cant speak to him in mandarin lolol..Hmmm in september there will be a chance for our mums to meet...what would they communicate in ? Ohh..they can communicate in a mixture of malay + chinese...coool !

Anyway back to the dinner..Mum rejected ben dan's offer to go outside for a meal..instead she took some time to whip up a scarily delicious sumptouos dinner ...6 dishes for the 4 of us..Dot Dot dot..what a showofff Heehehhehe Ben Dans very impressed by the food.

He bought over 3 tubs of Ben & Jerrys ice cream...COOL I love them ...preserved fruits & some dried mushrooms..(ps: on his first visit he bought a 3 cans of abalone..the smartie ass)

Its natural for ben dan to buy gifts for my parents...But wats unnatural is...Dad came home from work with a carrier in his hands and he passed it to Ben Dan before he left...WTF he bought ben dan chocolates...I dun get..But I'm gonna finish them !

A nice place to spend some quiet time

The usual movie shopping dinner in shopping malls routine is getting to me...grrr ain't there a place where I can enjoy some kind of different feel ?

My ben dan was determined that we find a place to relax..have some cookies...

Yesh it's in Singapore ..isnt it beautiful...the cool weather keeps me relaxed and comfy..the company I have keeps a smile on my lips...hehe . Leisure chats..jokes..Sincerely wished that time could stay at that moment.

Friday night

Had a lovely dinner with ben dan..attended his friends housewarming party in Tampines..the decor of the house is cool..I forgot I had my camera in my bag so I didnt capture any pics ...lol..I will make some excuse to pay another visit to their house hehehe

Met the 3 musketeers at 1:45a.m @ ECP...Wah been so long since I caught up with the clowns..really missed the jiao wheys..I listened in to the updates in their lives and also gossiped abit(whats new) hehe

The 3 of them just finished their blading session about to begin chat chat session with the Gossiper~

We tok tok tok..before we knew it..f*ck its 5am already ! Bert n Me were sent home in Mr sun's car..

Pretty good friday overall for me...with the exception that I broke a promise to my ben dan..Sorry Sorry Sorry..Really sorry. Thou he dun have my blog add cannot see..still Im really sorry I did it

Friday - afternoon with my parents ~

Realised that I have not been spending too much time with my parents once again..so slotted otu friday as my family spending time ~

Small family eatery in tanjoing Pagar..recommended by papa..the dishes are common dish..easily found..but the taste is 4.5 stars loh..good good

Paid a visit to Sis after lunch...added some new flowers..cleaned up abit . Really missed squabbling and sharing stuffs with her.

Feeling a little sickly

Some types of sickness are sucky..the kind of feeling..whereby u r not really sick..yet part of you clearly feels unwell..a little giddy ..alittle suffocating ARgghhh #$^&(*&;&%^&$

Anyway I felt much better after taking this packet of medicine..It's a combination of traditional herbs + honey ~ Taste good cures fast ! I will find out where to buy this in Singapore..& keep a good stock of it..so I will never have to be tormented by sickly feelings again

Passed another Semester

Okie..wheezed past another semester..but this sem I'm not really happy..The results are appalling bad..not that I hadn't seen it coming..But what's over is over...hehe I will just look forward to another 2 semesters, afterwhich off I go to the working world ~!~!~!~!

Missed my school days life..Pri school, unforgettable memories in Sec school + laughter filled Poly days..arggh ..sad to say I can't say its as enjoyable for my uni life...maybe that's because my classmates are all in the 30s + all working class...um..and another reason could be I don't even attend lessons..Blah...2 more sems to go ..I can do it..I can get my cert...Gambatte

Friends..Some friends come to u when u ask for help..some friends turn away when u ask for help..those that turn away..welll I don't have friends that turn away..cos in the 1st place..I don't bother to spend time on people like that..

The cool ones are the ones who come to u even though u nv ask for help, when u never complain..when u nv initiate contact..they reach out to u...always concerned..always loving... I appreciate it..it touches my heart and makes me feel..woah what a great life I have

Boring afternoons

Mum's been away for 4 days

I've been rotting for 4 days...Mum went on a last minute trip to KL/Genting with her friends $#%$&^*&^ ..damn it..though its really near..but how come she has so much more of a life than me ?

Anyway..the thing is,,,, I miss her cooking!!!!! I'm totally sick of outside food...

The last lunch Mum cooked for me before she headed for her short trip

Afterwhich everyday I've been meeting either my friends or ben dan for lunch..hey all this outside food is getting to my nerves..worse it is for me to have a ben dan bf (whom I meet for everynite's dinner) who is totally in love with dim sum & Mac...I tink he's mad when it comes to his meals..every meal he will either say Dim sum or Mac D...somebody kill me ..

1 week 3 - 4 times of dim sum is making me(a dim sum lover) detest it...

I get alot of hawker food ..mix veg rice + wanton mee+ char kway teow..but let's say they are just not mum's match !

I miss mum as mum for everything she does..not only her cooking... hmmm..honestly I do miss her cooking more than her naggings by that little bit

Good Friday

It's Good Friday ~ No work for everyone..but early morning tution for me..Teaching is fine with me, I think it's a pretty pleasant & simple job..but why am I always upset after I finish tution? It's becos..the family that I'm giving tution to ..is psychotic..the Mother & the kids treat the maid real bad...(give further example in future posts maybe..dun wanna tok about it now)

After that..got threatened to play mj with jackson n kok..I swear that they threatened me to play...lol...I feel so guilty towards Ben dan..He nv see real mahjong tiles in his life before.....don't understand wat is bamboos n circles..worst for him is the Wan zis..haha ...but he managed to pick up the basics of the game...End result ..Yay went home $45 richer happy happy...

But seriously I think I got zero interest left in mahjong...especially if gonna play $...so I told jackson next time no need jio me liao..tink he also sianz that I'm like that..Sorry..But if mahjong like tag teams with penalty ..still sounds like good fun....(so my mj date with friends that dun play $ in mj still stands ~) hehehe

In the evening , Ben Dan received an unexpected call too..but for him it's a Good call ..his childhood bestmate from his hometown, whom he has not met for 7 years..has came to work in Singapore too ! This friend is the only malay friend Ben Dan has..(apparently ben dan is very racist too hehe..but hor can't blame him..cos I think the malays in indonesia are really quite mean to the chinese there)

Thursday Fun + unexpected calll

Had a gruelling session with the twin monsters...After which, luckily Mr Ben Dan is waiting for me round the corner with some bubble tea to chill me down..

Ben Dan came right after work..therefore nag nag nag me to let him go home bathe n get a change of clothes before we go out again~ Meanwhile received a call from Mr Sun...minds cafe with the guys+Adeline !!!! I was quite excited!!!! But too bad 8 is just right...nine's a crowd...lol..funny Mr sun ask me to dump ben dan at home n join them..i would be a $#%^&& if I do that ~

And for not being a #$$%^&*&^ ...I got my reward..late night dim sum @ Geylang ~

Reached home @ 4 am..super shag...took a bathe..had a 'good nite chat' with ben dan on the phone...I was all ready to meet Andy Lau in dreamland..when suddenly my mobile start to ring...WTF 5am got call, the last time I checked, hmm my friends are not so happening liao leh..

A call to get some answers from me..answers which I happily & proudly provide~ What I do with my life is my business...& I can say without an inch of guilt I did not do anything wrong to anyone ..so that's that ...Back to dreamland...ZzzZZZzzz

I'm bored

I want to start working full time !!!!

I feel like a total slacker...though I generate my own income for my everydays expenses(meagre)..but I still feel like a bum..cos I wake up late everyday..laze around...on 3 days a week , I work for 2 hours each day...so that's a total of 6 working hours per weeek...I don't understand why everyone says I'm busy...I'm just disgustingly lazy ...But time still pass very fast..before I know it ..another day has past by..Wa la..abit worried that I might turn 30 years old before I know what has happened to me whahahaha

Then every evening meet my ben dan from 5:30pm till 1 am...(guess this is what me & my friends term the honeymoon season, everyday see his face also happy also not sian) But sometimes the happier we get..the more scared I feel that honeymoon will be over...think too much ~~~~~

Ben dan bought me strawberries n light cheesecake yesterday..

Mum washed the strawberries n serve it to me together with the cheesecake while I lie on bed to study...Ahhh...this is good enough for me.. I'm so so satisfied & happy~ Somebody slap me ! Hahahaha

1stly..apologize to Princess Adeline for not attending her birthday celebrations..hope you really like the gift I got for u and enjoyed urself ~

Met my ben dan @11am after my tution..wait for the pig to get bathed..dressed blah blah..wah lau..its already 3pm by the time we stepped out for lunch...had wanted to go to vivo city so that I can meet adeline , cos my dearest friends are playing at Sentosa..But ben dan suddenly tok to me about the food in his hometown..and greedy me got psychoed to go down to Somerset for some 'Ayam Penyet' instead

Next is Gai gai time in Orchard...At long last I got to buying my Niks cleansing lotion n the long awaited Vitamin C serum ~ (Thanks Ben dan)

More Gai gai...my ben dan aka as the lau ah pek...got tired from the constant walking..tsk tsk...kept pulling me to take a rest, have a drink...lol it's funny ! We shopped walk..eat..talk our way to The Cathay @ Dhoby Gaut (in between, we probably rested 200 times+/- hehehehe

Reached there at 8:30pm & we took another rest, this time @ Ben & Jerrys before our 9:40pm show( Mr Bean's holiday)

Enjoyed the music from the 'live performance' while I devour the ice cream & wait for the movie + await the arrival of lynn & her Bf.

The movie was hilarious...no need for me to kill any of my brain cells...this is wat i call relaxing entertainment

Thankful to Lynn for taking the trouble to come collect the pressies from me..Muackx + Apologize to princess Adeline again for not turning up( But I assure u there is more than 1 reason to my not coming , & I still love ya lots...glad that u really like the prezzie)

30th march

Met Mr Sun to collect pay from Casio...Yay $$$$$

Then we went to Tampines to do our respective tasks for the princess Adeline ~

Mr Sun was kind enough to slowly fetch me to aljunied..as both of us had too much time on our hands...we travelled at a speed of 60km/h on PIE..Oh my gosh...got lost in paya Lebar area..in the end both of us were on time...Lol
